An 18th Century Swiss verge in paste set gilt and enamel pair cases.  Full plate fire gilt movement with pentagonal baluster pillars.  Pierced and engraved masked cock with garnet endstone, pierced and engraved foot and plate for the silver regulator disc.  Fusee and chain with worm and wheel barrel setup between the plates. Plain three arm gilt balance, blue steel spiral hairspring. Signed white enamel dial with Roman and Arabic numerals, decorative stone set hands.. Plain gilt inner case, gilt pendant and bow, number corresponding to that on the movement.  Gilt outer case, the front bezel set with a row of pastes.  Polychrome oval enamel portrait of a young lady within a pierced white metal border of pastes set above a translucent dark blue enamel ground.
