A late 19^th Century Swiss lever with double sided calendar in a gunmetal case.  Keyless gilt bar movement with going barrel.  Plain cock with polished steel regulator.  Compensation balance with overcoil hairspring, club foot lever escapement.  White enamel dial with subsidiary seconds and Roman numerals, blue steel hands. The phase of the moon is indicated through an aperture in the centre of the dial on a blue steel and gold disc. Further calendar indications are on the other side of the watch.  The days of the week and date shown by a single blue steel hand and the month in a rectangular aperture.  The number of the days in each month are also given and the outer silvered ring indicating the day can be rotated by a thumb wheel to align the correct day with the date.  The date is changed automatically by a pawl on the movement.   Plain double sided gunmetal case with gilt bezels, hinge, winding button and bow, the calendar side under two glasses.

An unusual late 19^th Century English lever with patent dust cover and original watchpaper in a silver open face case.  Gilt three quarter plate keyless movement with going barrel.  Unusual gilt dust cover marked “Patent No. 1340 – Warranted English Lever” which is secured by a small engraved circular lock.  Once removed the movement can be swung from the case from the front.  Plain cock with polished steel regulator, compensation balance with spiral hairspring.  Screwed in jewelling, English table roller lever escapement.   Signed white enamel dial with centre seconds, Roman numerals, gold hands.  Substantial plain silver open face case, maker's mark “TM” and number corresponding to that on the movement.  Gilt winding button and gold slide in the band to stop the watch.  Inside the back cover a watchpaper from the original maker.

A fine late 19^th Century English minute repeating lever in a gold full hunter case.  Gilt half plate keyless movement with raised going barrel.  Plain cock with polished steel regulator, diamond endstone.  Compensation balance with timing nuts at the quarters, blue steel double overcoil hairspring.  English double roller lever escapement, screwed in jewelling, escape and lever pivots with endstones.  Slide minute repeating on two polished steel gongs. White enamel dial made by Willis, subsidiary seconds, Roman numerals, blue steel hands.  Substantial plain 18 carat full hunter case, gold cuvette with engraved dedication.  Recessed slide in the band for the minute repeat, maker's mark “FT” in an oval.

A late 19^th Century Swiss quarter repeater with concealed erotic automaton in a silver full hunter case.  Gilt three quarter plate keyless movement with going barrel.  Plain cock with polished steel regulator, uncut bimetallic balance with spiral hairspring.  Club foot lever escapement. Push button quarter repeating on two gongs.  White dial with subsidiary seconds, Roman numerals, blue steel hands.  Silver full hunter case, the covers decoratively chased and engraved. The cuvette cut away to reveal the later erotic scene fitted directly to the movement..   The parcel gilt and painted  figures engaged in an amorous encounter spring to life when the repeat mechanism is activated.
