Description

An early 19th Century continental three gong quarter repeating verge with skeletonised dial in a gold open face case.  Full plate gilt fusee movement.  Bridge cock finely pierced and engraved in a star pattern, garnet endstone in a blue steel setting.  Plain three arm gilt balance with blue steel spiral hairspring.  Silver regulator dial with blue steel indicator.  Push pendant repeating, three polished steel hammers striking three steel gongs for the quarters.  White enamel ring dial, glazed open centre with pierced and engraved mask  revealing the polished steel repeating work and pierced motion work.  Arabic numerals, blue steel Breguet hands.  Engine turned 18 carat open face case with rope middle, gold push pendant.  Wound through the sprung gilt cuvette.
