A large English keyless fusee freesprung lever with power reserve indication in a silver open face case and mahogany deck box.  Gilt half plate keyless movement with fusee and chain. Harrison's maintaining power.  Plain cock with diamond endstone.   Compensation balance with freesprung blue steel overcoil hairspring.  English table roller lever escapement, screwed in jewelling, escape and lever pivots with endstones. Unusual dust shield protecting the balance. Signed and numbered white enamel dial with subsidiaries for power reserve and seconds, Roman numerals, blue steel hands.  Plain silver open face case with gilt winding button.  Maker's mark “JW&Co” in a rectangle and number corresponding to that on the movement.  Fitted in a fine three tier mahogany deck box with brass furniture, steel key to the lock.
