A late 18th Century French verge in a diamond set gold and enamel consular case. Full plate gilt fusee movement. Finely pierced and engraved bridge cock with steel coqueret, plain three arm gilt balance with blue steel spiral hairspring. Silver regulator dial with blue steel indicator. Winding through the fully restored white enamel dial, Arabic numerals, gilt hands. Unusual consular case, the bezel set with a row of diamonds. The back covered in translucent dark blue enamel over an engine turned ground. This is overlaid with a decorative diamond set gold mask.

Multi Dial Gilt Chinese Market Verge
A late 18th Century English verge by Brockbank with regulator calendar dial in stone set gilt metal pair cases. Full plate fire gilt movement with signed and numbered gilt dust cover. Pierced and engraved masked cock, silver regulator disc. Fusee and chain. Plain three arm steel balance, blue steel spiral hairspring. White enamel regulator dial with two extra subsidiaries for age of the moon and day of the month. Central gold arrow hand for the minutes of Arabic numerals, the hours at twelve with Roman numerals and continuous seconds below. Gilt pair cases, plain gilt inner case. The outer with chased and engraved gilt bezels, each set with a single row of green and red stones. The back set with a restored scene of a spilt basket of fruit and birds. Concealed hinge.

A mid 19th Century Swiss cylinder in a gold and enamel open face case. Keywind gilt Lepine calibre movement with suspended going barrel. Plain cock with polished steel regulator . Plain three arm gilt balance with blue steel spiral hairspring. Polished steel cylinder, steel escape wheel. Silver dial with decoratively engraved centre, Roman numerals, gold hands. Engraved gold open face case, the back with a well painted polychrome enamel scene of a lady and a cupid in a chapel. Wound and set through the engine turned gold cuvette.
