Description

A rare miniature Swiss cylinder by Patek Philippe in a gold open face case.  Very small keywind gilt bar movement with suspended going barrel. Plain cock with polished steel regulator, plain three arm gilt balance with blue steel spiral hairspring. Polished steel cylinder, steel escape wheel.  White enamel dial with Roman numerals, blue steel Breguet hands.  Miniature engine turned 18 carat open face case with ribbed middle.  Wound and set through the signed and numbered gold cuvette which is also engraved for the German retailer.  In a small cartouche shaped red morocco case from Goldsmiths and Silversmiths company.  Accompanied by certificate from Patek Philippe.

This 7 ligne movement was one of the smallest made for a pocket watch.  Examples of one by Patek Philippe are rare and not offered for sale often.  In excellent overall condition
