Description

A 19th Century English keyless reverse fusee lever in a gold half hunter case.  Gilt half plate keyless movement with reverse fusee and chain,  Harrison's maintaining power.  Engraved cock with polished steel regulator, diamond endstone, compensation balance with blue steel spiral hairspring.  English table roller lever escapement, screwed in jewelling, escape and lever pivots with endstones under a gilt bridge.  Signed and numbered white enamel dial with offset subsidiary seconds, Roman numerals, blue steel hands.  Plain 18 carat half hunter case with blue enamel chapter ring.  Gold hinged back engraved with a monogram, maker's mark “JM” in an oval.  

Kullberg manufactured watches for many of the best makers in the late 19th Century.  This particular model with a reverse keyless fusee and escape and lever under a bridge was often used
