Description

A large late 19^th Century English lever in a gold hunter case.  Gilt three quarter plate keyless movement hinging from the case, going barrel.  Engraved cock with polished steel regulator, compensation balance with blue steel overcoil hairspring.  English table roller lever escapement. Screwed in jewelling, escape and lever pivots with endstones. Signed and numbered white enamel dial with centre seconds, Roman numerals, blue steel seconds hand, gilt hands.  Plain single bodied 18 carat full hunter case with small gold slide in the band to stop the watch by acting on the balance.  Maker’s mark "T.R" in a rectangle and number corresponding to that on the movement.
