Signed silvered dial with engine turned centre, subsidiary seconds at nine o'clock, black Arabic numerals, the twelve in red blue steel Breguet hands. Large purpose made stainless steel wristwatch case with glazed back to display the movement. Black calf strap.

Unusual Mystery Desk Barometer

An unusual early 20^th Century German precision aneroid desk barometer. Brass base housing the mechanism supporting the barometer dial. Slender wire and chain attached to the indicator. The signed glass dial in English on the back glass and marked “Atmospheric Pressure relative to Sea-Level”. White arrow indicator formed so that its pointer is close to the index. Small brass knob in the centre to allow the current reading to be recorded by a second arrow pointer. Retailers mark engraved on th front of the base “Optician – JB Watson Edinburgh”

An early 20th Century miniature Swiss lever in a gold pendant watch in the form of a half hunter. Nickelled split three quarter plate keyless movement with going barrel. Plain cock with polished steel regulator, uncut bimetallic balance with spiral hairspring. Club foot lever escapement. Plain gilt dial with blue steel hands. Very small engine turned 18 carat open face case in the form of a half hunter watch. Broad front bezel with blue enamel Arabic numerals. Engine turned clip on back set with a light blue sapphire. Gold bow shaped pendant also set with light blue sapphires.

A rare watch due to its very small size. Movements of this diameter only become more common later in the 20th Century.

Plain cock with polished steel regulator, uncut bimetallic balance with spiral hairspring. Club foot lever escapement. Silvered dial signed “Udall Ballou”, Arabic numerals, blue steel hands. Miniature 14 carat open face case, the broad front bezel set with twelve diamonds, four larger ones marking the quarters. Clip on back with engraved monogram.

A rare watch due to its very small size. Movements of this diameter only become more common later in the 20th Century.

Bezel Wound and Set Clock

An unusual 20^th Century Swiss eight day lever bezel wound and set clock with wind indicator by Zenith. Gilt three quarter plate keyless movement with large going barrel. Unusual construction with a substantial steel winding wheel attached to the centre of the bowl housing the movement. This bowl is free to rotate around the movement aided by five sprung ball bearings at its edge. Subsidiary platform for the escapement, plain cock with steel regulator, compensation balance with blue steel overcoil hairspring. Club foot lever escapement. Signed silvered dial with subsidiary seconds, Arabic numerals, blue steel hands. Below the twelve a circular aperture which turns red after the clock has been running for seven days, indicating it should be wound. Chromed serrated bezel which is turned to wind the clock. This bezel is raised and turned to adjust the hands.
