An unusual late 18thCentury cylinder in a gold and enamel ring. Very small full plate movement with resting barrel. Plain bridge cock with polished steel coqueret, steel regulator on top plate below the plain three arm gilt balance. Polished steel cylinder, steel escape wheel. Winding through the small white enamel dial, Arabic numerals, and gold hands. Set in an engraved gold ring with champlevé dark blue translucent enamel. Heavy hinged engraved and decorate gold bezel with small glazed aperture for the dial.
