Description

A very rare early 20^th Century 18 carat gold English freesprung lever movement in a platinum half hunter case.  Spotted gold half plate keyless movement both plates hallmarked London 1912.  Going barrel.  Plain cock with large diamond endstone, compensation balance with freesprung blue steel overcoil hairspring.  Club foot lever escapement, screwed in jewelling, escape and lever pivots with endstones.  Engine turned platinum dial with subsidiary seconds, Roman numerals, blue steel seconds hand, gold hands.  Rare substantial platinum plain half hunter case with blue enamel chapter ring fixed by three screws.  Gold bow and winding button.
