A late 19^th Century Freesprung English lever in a gold half hunter case.  Gilt half plate keyless movement with going barrel. Plain cock with diamond endstone, freesprung compensation balance with blue steel double overcoil hairspring. English double roller lever escapement, screwed in jewelling, escape and lever pivots with endstones. White enamel dial with subsidiary seconds, Roman numerals, blue steel half hunter hands. Substantial plain 18 carat half hunter case with blue enamel chapter ring. Plain gold cuvette, maker’s mark “GHB” in a rectangle.
