A fine late 19th Century Swiss lever ball watch set with diamonds and pearls.  Unusual keyless gilt movement constructed with the train wheels above the going barrel.  Plain sector cock with polished steel regulator.  Compensation balance with blue steel spiral hairspring. Club foot lever escapement.  Small white enamel dial with blue Arabic numerals, the 12 o’clock marking in red, gilt minute markings and hands.  The case is constructed in three parts, the gold middle with a row of split pearls.  The two gold hemispheres engraved with fleur-dis-lis set with small diamonds.  Gold oval ring set with graduated diamonds. The watch is wound and set by turning the top hemisphere of the case in relation to the lower hemisphere.
