A late 19th Century English keyless fusee freesprung lever with power reserve in a gold half hunter case. Gilt half plate keyless movement with fusee and chain. Harrison’s maintaining power. Plain cock with diamond endstone. Compensation balance, freesprung blue steel overcoil hairspring. English table roller lever escapement. Screwed in jewelling, escape and lever pivots with endstones. Signed and numbered white enamel dial with subsidiaries for power reserve and seconds, Roman numerals, blue steel half hunter hands. Substantial plain 18 carat half hunter case (144g) with blue enamel chapter ring, two flysprings to the front cover. Monogram engraved on the back of a dragons head in an oval surmounted by a five pointed crown. Plain gold cuvette. Maker’s mark “AS” in an rectangle and number corresponding to that on the movement.

Square Silver Loehr Perpetual Watch

A late 19^th Century pedometer wind lever with power reserve indication in a square silver case. Damascened nickle three quarter plate movement with going barrel wound by an oscillating weight. Plain cock with polished steel regulator, compensation balance with blue steel overcoil hairspring. Club foot lever escapement. Automatic winding work set above the plate carries a weight set at the side which oscillates as the wearer walks, safety mechanism to avoid over-winding. White enamel dial with subsidiaries for power reserve and seconds, Roman numerals, blue steel hands. Square shaped decorative silver case, the back chased and engraved with stylised birds of prey. Numbered silver cuvette engraved with details of the watch unusually clipping inside the body of the case. Hinged front cover with circular glazed aperture opening to reveal a second glazed bezel and hand set lever. Shaped silver bow and gilt winding crown.

Plain cock, compensation balance with freesprung blue steel overcoil hairspring. English table roller lever escapement. Screwed in jewelling, escape and lever pivots with endstones. Signed and numbered white enamel dial with centre seconds, Roman numerals, blue steel seconds hand, gilt hands. Substantial plain 18 carat half hunter case with blue enamel chapter ring, small gold slide in the band to stop the watch by acting on the balance. Plain gold cuvette, maker’s mark "T.R" in a rectangle and number corresponding to that on the movement.

Unusual Moonphase Minute Repeating Gold Hunter

A large late 19^th Century Swiss patent minute repeating chronograph with moonphase calendar in a gold full hunter case. Keyless gilt bar movement, the single going barrel driving both the repeat and going trains. Plain cock with polished steel regulator, compensation balance with blue steel overcoil hairspring. Club foot lever escapement. Minute repeating mechanism released by depressing the small button in the band, striking on two polished steel gongs. White enamel dial with flyback centre seconds chronograph. Subsidiaries for day, date, month and seconds. Gold and blue enamel moonphase disc visible through the aperture in the seconds subsidiary. Roman numerals, decorative pierced gold hands. Substantial large plain 18 carat full hunter case, two gold buttons in the band, one for the flyback centre seconds chronograph, the other to release the minute repeating. Four steel levers in the front bezel to allow the calendar functions to be set.
