Plain cock with polished steel regulator, compensation balance with blue steel overcoil hairspring. English table roller lever escapement. Signed white enamel dial with centre seconds, Roman numerals, blue steel seconds hand, gilt hands. Very substantial plain 18 carat full hunter case, small gold slide in the band to stop the balance, maker's mark “BH” in a rectangle and number corresponding to that on the movement, gross weight 245 grams. In a velvet lined rosewood presentation case, vacant shield shaped mother of pearl cartouche in the lid.

In excellent overall condition. This is one of the most substantial gold watches we have seen, weighing about twice as much as usual

Very substantial plain 18 carat full hunter case with thief proof swivel bow. Gold cuvette with engraved presentation in gratitude of 50 years service! Maker's mark “HMF” in a rectangle and number corresponding to that on the movement. In original signed presentation case lined in red velvet. Accompanied by Frodsham certificate.

A fine watch in excellent overall condition, probably never used. It is fitting that such a high quality watch was given to someone who worked for so many years in one company

Signed white enamel dial with subsidiary seconds, Roman numerals, blue steel hands. Large plain open face nickle case with gilt winding button. The watch secured in the silver top of the inkwell by a broad bayonet fit bezel. The silver housing on an unusual double hinged mechanism which allows the watch to be seen, dial up, when the inkwell is closed. Heavy square glass inkwell with champfered corners and geometrically cut base, the glass with an attractive yellow tinge.
