Signed       Arnolt  -  Hamburg

An unusually small verge from the pre balance spring period.  Very few watches were made at this time, even fewer survive, especially ones which have not been converted to balance spring.  Thomas Wolfgang Arnolt, Hamburg, died 1704.  Received the freedom of the city of Hamburg in 1662.  Watch in the Hamburg Arts and Crafts Museum.
