For those who weren’t in attendance, Chiswick Auctions’ latest specialist sale of jewellery and watches has rather pleasingly been heralded as a real success by the auction house.
The collection of sales, which took place last week, on July 28th, was in fact dominated by the jewellery lots. However, the antique watches for sale on show did not disappoint whatsoever.
Chiswick Auctions went as far as to say that they had noticed more vintage styles in this particular auction than in previous occasions, with heritage pieces and many others coming from private collections.
One of the most notable performers of all the lots was a ladies’ 1995 Rolex Oyster perpetual wristwatch. This particular vintage movement sold for £1,800 including buyer’s premium.
