A very rare watch which although it is undoubtedly continental has the feel of English influence. In particular the
design of the centre seconds work is similar to that employed by Mudge and other eminent English makers of the period
in their work. It is also not common to find the cylinder escapement in continental watches of the period or dust covers
of this type. The case is of a heavier gauge and higher assay than normally used on the continent.
