This site is designed to be used with a Frames capable browser. It should be possible to find your way around without one but the help on this page assumes you are using one.
| From our Hompage you can access the Stock Indexes, Site Index, our Reference Site, General Help and a list of links to other horological sites. Almost all pages have a link back to our Homepage in the buttons at the top and links to the Stock Indexes and Site Index at the foot of the page. If you get lost you should try using one of these to get you back to "square one". Also at the foot of most pages is a link for E Mail. |
| The largest part of our site is devoted
to a wide range of Antique and Precision pocket watches, movements and
wristwatches. The Main Stock Index will lead you to a number of sub-sections. The buttons to the left will display the sub-section chosen, listing only those items which are still availble. The buttons to the right display all watches, both available and many which have been sold. We provide this for reference and to allow you to compare our current stock with past items. Each of the sub-sections lists watches or movements which fall within them. Some watches will be found in several indexes. To ensure you don't miss anything you can look through the Date index which includes every item |

The pages of the sub-sections are divided into three parts or frames. At the top a general navigation bar, to the left a list of items in the section and the main part of the page which will contain full details of the item chosen. This part of the page will normally also have a buttons at the top, initially containing a page about using the index. You can redisplay the help page at any time by clicking on the name of the index at the top left. The navigation bar and with of the index is fixed and connot be altered.

The left hand section containing the list of items shows a small thumbnail image, its Index number, title, and the price in United Kingdom Pounds. Between the list and the main page a scroll bar which you can drag up and down to display more items.
| Clicking on the Index number (or
the word SOLD) will replace the main part with a full description and
extra images larger than the one you can see now. If you want to see more
detail you can click on these images for an even larger one which
may extend beyond the edges of the screen (use the scroll bars to move around).
If the images are not fully visible you can use the shortcut button or the
scrollbar to see them. You can click the index number again to return to the
description although using the back button on your browser will probably be
quicker. |
| Clicking on the Image will display the status page. On this you will see a larger version of the thumbnail image together with a short description. It will also show if the item is still available and price in US Dollars. (This is the same page displayed using the status button). |
While the index is displayed at the left you can use it at any time to display in the main part of the page any other item, regardless of its contents at the time.
If you want to buy a watch or ask for further information about it, please quote its index number and title. The index will remain displayed if you use thePurchasing button at the top right of the description.
