Conditions of Sale
All complete watches offered for sale
on the site are in working order unless otherwise stated. Uncased
movements in many cases do not function. Please study the full description
of the item to check its features and condition.
See Descriptions - an
explanation.
We very rarely hear from our customers
that a watch did not live up to their expectations. Normally the reverse!
However if you are unhappy with an article for any reason please telephone
us within seven days of receiving it to discuss the problem.
You may return
any item for a full refund of the purchase price by following our returns
policy:-
- You must telephone within seven days to inform us about the
difficulty you are having.
- If we can't remedy the problem to your satisfaction
you may return the item.
- We will refund your card or send a cheque as appropriate for
the amount of either:
- The full price paid - in the event that the item differs
substantively from the description.
- Or - the purchase price of the item less unavoidable expenses*
- if the description is accurate.
* In most cases there would be no
deduction from the purchase price as you would be returning the watch to
us. However at present the EU is levying a 2.5% importation charge which
we would have to pay! We may have to deduct this as an unavoidable
expense.
Insurance: -
All items sent to you are insured in
transit by us. If you need to send or return anything to us you should
arrange to cover them under your own insurance.
All goods are the property of Pieces of
Time until delivered
