Uncased Movements - unless otherwise stated do not function. We endeavour to note all major defects and missing parts but the information given should not be considered exhastive.

To the left you will see a list of escapement types. Clicking on one of them will display an index movements of that type. Each index list repeating movements at the end. These can be accessed quickly by clicking Repeaters at the top.

Each index (except Chronometers) lists the timepiece movements in chronological order followed by repeating, alarm and clockwatch movements. Unlike watches, movements,will not be found in more than one index.

• Levers:- The more common types of lever, Swiss club foot, English lever and English fusee levers are to be found in this index.
• Special Lever:- Includes Massey types I, II, III and V; Savage two pin and rack levers. The rarer types such as Massey IV, Pouzzait etc, will (if we have them) be found in the Special index.
• Special:- Rare forms of escapement such as Debaufre, Peto cross detent, English ruby cylinder, Breguet ruby cylinder. In addition any movement that has a rare or unusal feature such as perpetual calendar, eight day, patent winding,
