Index No. A9062 Bezel Wound and Set Clock
An unusual 20th Century Swiss eight day lever bezel wound and set clock with wind indicator by Zenith.  Gilt three quarter plate keyless movement with large going barrel. Unusual construction with a substantial steel winding wheel attached to the centre of the bowl housing the movement.  This bowl is free to rotate around the movement aided by five sprung ball bearings at its edge. Subsidiary platform for the escapement, plain cock with steel regulator, compensation balance with blue steel overcoil hairspring. Club foot lever escapement.  Signed silvered dial with subsidiary seconds, Arabic numerals, blue steel hands.  Below the twelve a circular aperture which turns red after the clock has been running for seven days, indicating it should be wound.  Chromed serrated bezel which is turned to wind the clock.  This bezel is raised and turned to adjust the hands.
