Index No. A8841 Silver English Freesprung Deck Watch
A late 19th Century English freesprung fusee lever silver deck watch and box.  Gilt three quarter plate keywind movement with fusee and chain. Harrison's maintaining power.  Plain cock with polished steel regulator, compensation balance with blue steel overcoil hairspring.  English table roller lever escapement,  escape and lever pivots with endstones.  Signed and numbered white enamel dial with  the ministry broad arrow, subsidiary seconds, Roman numerals, blue steel hands. Substantial plain silver open face case, maker's mark "FT" in an oval. Number corresponding to that on the movement.  Fitted in a lockable three tier mahogany box with brass furniture.  Circular disc on the lid with the makers name and number and the ministry broad arrow between the letters "H W".
