| A small late 18th Century French quarter repeater by Lepine in a gold and enamel open face case. Keywind gilt Lepine calibre movement with suspended going barrel. Pierced sector shaped cock with polished steel regulator, plain three arm gilt balance with blue steel spiral hairspring.
Converted from cylinder to English table roller lever escapement. Push pendant quarter repeating with two polished steel hammers on the side of the case. Signed white enamel dial with two chapters of Arabic numerals for hours and minutes, gold hands. Small gold open face case, gold and enamel bezels, the back with a finely painted polychrome enamel scene depicting a cupid. Wound and set through the signed gold cuvette.
