Diameter 58 mm
An unusual and interesting case invented by Ezra C Fitch and patented on April 22 1879, No 214,642.  Its construction would have proved reasonably efficient at excluding the elements making it suitable as an explorer's watch similar to those made by Lund & Blockley in England.
