| A rare early 18th Century English full plate fire gilt verge movement with Egyptian pillars. Fine pierced and engraved winged cock with mask. The centre engraved with the Royal coat of arms of Queen Anne, adopted after the Union in 1707. Around this the Order of the Garter "Hony soit qui mal Y pense" and below "Iem Rau Antiend". Flanking this the lion and unicorn and above a detailed crown. Broad pierced and engraved foot depicting a crouching hound. Fusee and chain with worm and wheel barrel setup between the plates. Plain steel balance, silver regulator disc. | ||
