numerals, gilt hands. engine turned silver open face case with ribbed middle. Hallmarked London 1825, maker's mark "IC" in a rectangle. Large square glass inkwell with canted corners, concave base decorated with a cut star reflecting the colour of the ink. Circular hinged silver top fitted with the watch secured by a bayonet fit silver bezel.
