Index No. A8305 Gilt Champleve Dial English Verge
An early 18th Century English verge with champleve dial in a gilt consular case.  Deep full plate fire gilt movement with Egyptian pillars.  Fusee and chain with worm and wheel barrel setup between the plates.  Pierced and engraved winged cock with extra steady foot on the table, polished steel coqueret, pierced and engraved foot.  Plain steel balance, silver regulator disc.  Wound through the signed gilt metal champleve dial, Roman and Arabic numerals, fine blue steel beetle and poker hands.  Gilt metal consular case, gilt swivel pendant and stirrup bow.
