lever escapement. Gold dial with foliate engraved centre, painted Roman numerals, gilt hands. Geometrically engraved 18 carat open face case with small vacant shield shaped cartouche to the back cover, ribbed middle. Wound and set through the gold cuvette which is engraved with a small monogram. Maker's mark "HF" in a rectangle and number corresponding to that on the movement.
