lever pivots with endstones. English table roller lever escapement. Broad Ministry of Defence arrow engraved on the movement. Signed and numbered white enamel dial with centre seconds, Roman numerals, blue steel hands. Substantial plain silver open face case with gilt winding button and extended hand set button. Maker's mark "FT" in an oval and number corresponding to that on the movement. Circular brass deck case
lined in red velvet, the glazed front cover a bayonet fit with sprung lock button.
