An early 19th Century English watch with decorative gold dial in an engine turned gold case.  Full plate gilt keywind fusee movement.  Harrison's maintaining power.  Plain cock with diamond endstone, compensation balance with blue steel spiral hairspring.  English table roller lever escapement.  Winding through the decorative gold dial, engine turned centre, applied gold Arabic numerals on a matted ground, gold hands.  Unusual single bodied engine turned 18 carat open face case with engine turned straight sides.  Sprung front bezel opened by a button in the pendant.

Unusual shape for an English case of the period.  The movement has been extensively rebuilt with a lever escapement later in the Century to improve the timekeeping.
