Index No. A8122 Unusual Patent Roskopf Lever
An unusual early 20th Century Roskopf lever with reverse running seconds in a silvered open face case.  Brass three quarter plate keywind movement with going barrel.  Plain cock with steel regulator, uncut balance with spiral hairspring.   Roskopf pin pallet lever escapement.  The plate marked "EKB" in an oval, "Depose" below and "Integra - Reg. trade mark" in an oval.  Signed white enamel dial, the subsidiary seconds unusually running anti-clockwise, Roman numerals, gilt hands.  Engine turned silvered open face case with ribbed middle, wound and set through the silvered cuvette.  In the back of the case an original watchpaper  signed "Integra - Brevet + 47001".

Probably an interesting attempt to produce a watch more economically.  Edward Kummer, Bettlach took out the patent 47001 on 22 February 1909.  The watch is supplied with a three page copy of the Swiss patent in French detailing train counts and with diagrams.
