Index No. A8153 Rare English Twin Barrel Eight Day Cylinder
A rare 19th Century English eight day cylinder in a gold open face case.  Keywind gilt bar movement with two  suspended going barrels acting on a pinion situated between them.  Plain cock with polished steel regulator.  Plain three arm gold balance with blue steel spiral hairspring.  Polished steel cylinder, steel escape wheel, pivots with endstones.  Engine turned gold dial with subsidiary seconds, Roman numerals, blue steel hands.  Engine turned 18 carat open face case with ribbed middle, wound and set through the gold cuvette.  Maker's mark "LC" with three dots below in a rectangle.
