spiral hairspring. Screwed in jewelling, English table roller lever escapement. White enamel dial oriented with the twelve at the pendant. Offset subsidiary seconds, Turkish numerals and later red Arabic numerals for the hours 13 - 24, blue steel hands. Fine profusely engraved 18 carat full hunter case, ribbed middle. On the front caver a well painted polychrome enamel portrait of an officer within a champleve enamel frame. On the back a
monogram in red translucent enamel below an engraved crown. Maker's mark "D&A" number corresponding to that on the movement.
