In outstanding condition for an early watch.  Few watches were made with a single hand after the introduction of the balance spring which made them accurate enough to need a minute hand.  The outer case has had an earlier covering witnessed by the geometric pattern formed by pin holes on the inside.  Casemaker William Finch whose mark appears on the 1682 plate and was used by Markwick.
