| An unusual late 19th Century Swiss eight day alarm combined with an aneroid barometer and thermometer in a folding travelling case. On the right the alarm clock with nickelled three quarter plate keyless movement with going barrel. Plain cock with polished steel regulator, compensation balance
with blue steel overcoil hairspring. Club foot lever escapement. Second barrel for the alarm striking with a single hammer on a steel gong. White enamel dial with inner chapter for the alarm, Arabic numerals, blue steel hands. On the left the aneroid barometer, signed white enamel dial marked in inches of mercury and state of the weather. The glass in the rotating bezel with a mark to record the reading. In the centre a small
mercury thermometer marked in Fahrenheit and Centigrade on a rectangular bone plate. Green morocco covered folding travelling case opening to form an easel.
