Index No. A7909 Rare Silver Split Seconds Swiss Lever
A late 19th Century Swiss split seconds minute recording chronograph by Baume in a silver open face case.  Gilt three quarter plate keyless movement with going barrel. Engraved cock with polished steel regulator, compensation balance with white metal overcoil hairspring. Club foot lever escapement, gold lever and escape wheel.  Polished steel minute recording flyback chronograph work above the plate which is marked "Patent 8508".  Split seconds work under the dial.  Signed and numbered white enamel dial with split centre seconds flyback chronograph, subsidiaries for minute record and continuous seconds, Roman numerals, gilt hands. Substantial plain silver open face case with gold split seconds button, gilt winding button to operate the chronograph.
