lever escapement. Decorative engine turned gold dial, a riverside scene engraved in the centre. Subsidiary seconds, applied gold Roman numerals, blue steel seconds hand, gold Breguet hands. Gold engine turned open face case, chased and engraved bezels, pendant and bow. Back and inner dome marked with an eagle, maker's mark "JH" and number corresponding to that on the movement.
