spiral hairspring. Push pendant quarter repeating on a bell in the case. White enamel dial with Roman and Arabic numerals, fine blue steel beetle and poker hands. Finely chased and engraved gold repousse pair cases. The inner case very unusually also bearing a scene of a battle with a church in the background and cartouches of horsemen at the quarters. The outer chased and engraved with the scene of Diogenes searching for an honest man. He carries a lamp, the symbol of truth and virtue and his cap is engraved
