between the plates. Plain three arm steel balance, blue steel spiral hairspring. Signed white enamel dial with Roman and Arabic numerals, pierced gilt hands. 22 carat gold pair cases, the inner with slim gold pendant and bow, maker's mark "IM". The gold repousse work outer richly chased and engraved with a scene depicting a classically dressed man and woman, the figure of Mercury above them.
