A late 18th Century English verge in a silver open face case.  Full plate fire gilt movement with round pillars.  Pierced and engraved cock with diamond endstone, silver regulator disc. Plain three arm steel balance, blue steel spiral hairspring. Later white enamel dial with Roman numerals, blue steel hands. Purpose made engine turned silver open face case hallmarked London 1843, maker's mark "TK".
