Index No. A7814 Large Silver Centre Seconds Fusee Lever
A large late 19th Century English centre seconds fusee lever chronograph in a silver open face case.  Gilt three quarter plate keywind movement with fusee and chain. Harrison's maintaining power. Engraved cock with polished steel regulator, compensation balance with blue steel overcoil hairspring. English table roller lever escapement, escape and lever pivots with endstones, screwed in jewelling.  Signed white enamel dial with centre seconds and chronograph markings at the edge, Roman numerals, blue steel seconds hand, gilt hands. Substantial plain silver open face case with vacant engraved oval cartouche on the back, ribbed middle. Gold hinges and slide to stop the balance, maker's mark "IJTN" in a rectangle and number corresponding to that on the movement.
