Index No. A7819 Gold American Hunter in Presentation Case
An early 20th Century American lever in a gold full hunter case and presentation case.  Damascened nickelled three quarter plate keyless seventeen jewel movement, going barrel. Plain cock with polished steel micrometer regulator, compensation balance with blue steel overcoil hairspring. Club foot lever escapement.  Screwed in jewelling, Signed white enamel dial with subsidiary seconds, Arabic numerals, blue steel hands. Engine turned 14 carat full hunter case, vacant shield shaped cartouche on the front cover.  Ribbed middle. gold cuvette, maker's mark "BWC Co".  In fitted black morocco covered presentation case marked "Arthur Saunders & Co.  Est 1849 - The Waltham Watch Depot - 3 Southampton Row, High Holborn, London  - Telephone: - Central 12034"
