A rare mid 20th Century Swiss lever aluminium dress watch by Vacheron & Constantin.  Split three quarter plate keyless movement with going barrel. Plain cock with polished steel micrometer regulator, compensation balance with blue steel overcoil hairspring. Club foot lever escapement. escape pivots with endstones. Signed white aluminium dial with subsidiary seconds, applied aluminium Arabic numerals, aluminium hands. Slim plain open face case, clip on back and bezel, maker's mark "Vacheron & Constantin".  Dedication on the back "Presented to F. A. Sievert by Aluminium Company 1952" who was the Chief Executive Officer of the company.  Signed dark brown morocco presentation box and watch stand, the two sprung hinged door retained by a loop.
