A large early 19th Century English chronometer in a silver gilt case and mahogany deck box.  Large full plate keywind fusee movement, four turned pillars secured by blue steel screws.  Blue steel dust protector to the fusee square.  Harrison's maintaining power, blue steel barrel ratchet wheel and double toothed click on the gilt barrel bridge.  Plain cock with large diamond endstone, two arm compensation balance of blue steel and brass, two circular weights with unusual blue steel caps, small timing screws.   Freesprung blue steel overcoil hairspring.  Earnshaw spring detent escapement, escape pivots with endstones. Screwed in jewelling, the large jewel to the fusee square in a blue steel setting.  Signed and numbered white enamel dial with subsidiary seconds, Roman numerals, blue steel gold hands. Substantial plain silver gilt open face case, wound through the silver gilt cuvette, clip on glazed front bezel.  Three tier mahogany deck box with brass furniture and lock.
