Index No. A7407 Silver Full Hunter Verge
A 19th Century verge in a silver full hunter case.  Full plate fusee movement, gilt dust cover pierced to reveal the  pierced and engraved round cock, diamond endstone.  Gilt regulator on top plate below the plain three arm gold balance.  Numbered white enamel dial with subsidiary seconds, Roman numerals, blue steel seconds hand, gilt hands.  Plain silver full hunter case with a monogram engraved on the back, gold hinges. Number corresponding to that on the movement, maker's mark "JD" and "IMC".
