enamel dial with subsidiary seconds, Roman numerals, blue steel seconds hand, gilt hands. Later purpose made engine turned 18 carat open face case hallmarked London 1874. Circular cartouche on the back with engraved monogram, ribbed middle. Number corresponding to that on the movement, maker's mark "AS" in a rectangle and additionally "IMC" and "S-S".
