Plain three arm gilt balance
with blue steel spiral hairspring. Polished steel cylinder, steel escape wheel. Signed silvered dial with applied engraved gilt decoration. Two apertures below the centre display the digital indication of minutes and below a small subsidiary seconds dial. Above these an aperture showing the hours unusually with the numerals one to twelve in red and thirteen to twenty four in black. The minutes change instantaneously as the seconds hand
passes 60. Engine turned silver open face case, vacant shield shaped cartouch on the back cover. Engine turned cuvette engraved "Cylindre 8 Rubis".
