balance with blue steel spiral hairspring. Club foot lever escapement. Signed white enamel dial with subsidiary seconds, Roman numerals, pierced gilt hands. Engine turned silver open face case, the silver bow, linked to the going barrel, winds the watch as it moves backwards and forwards. Small pull out button in the band at nine o'clock to set the hands. The silver cuvette engraved "Ancre - No 18".
