| In fine overall condition. Jean Van Ceulen le jeaune, son of Johannes Van Ceulen - The Hague, circa 1700 - 1725. It is unusual to find a Dutch watch with an English case. William Jaques was chosen by Tompion, Quare and Windmills amongst other eminent watchmakers of the period to make cases for their watches. The movement although predominantly English in style shows signs of its Dutch maker. |
